Human Trafficking Symposium

Wednesday, November 1, 2017
8:00 am4:00 pm
Hudson Community Chapel

Join us for an all-day symposium, featuring state and local experts, as we address ways to build awareness, strengthen advocacy, and effectively respond to human trafficking.

The morning presentation will provide an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human trafficking and how it impacts the criminal justice system. A judge will share his decision to combat human trafficking and what he has learned through his experience. A clinical counselor will provide insights from working with this population in a trauma-informed way within the court system, and a human trafficking survivor will share her personal story- how she became a human trafficking victim, how she ended up in the criminal justice system, and how she recovered.

The afternoon will offer educational workshops. (Please see below)
The $20 registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Judicial CLEs, CLEs and CEUs are pending and are included in the registration fee.

**Once you purchase your ticket you will be directed to choose two of the workshops listed below. One from Workshop A and one from Workshop B. (Please note each workshop runs twice so do not select the same workshop for A and B)
