In-Service Training: Self-Care in the COVID Era for CASA/GAL Volunteers
The Covid-19 Pandemic has brought about a new set of stressors that impacts our entire lives and the vulnerable communities we serve. Social distancing has brought about emotional distancing and feelings of isolation, anxiety, fear, and worry. Although we cannot control the pandemic single handedly, we can control our active pursuit of mental health wellness. This webinar deals with strategies to help CASA/GAL develop a comprehensive plan of self-care that encompasses dimensions of mental health wellness such as Social Support, Diet & Exercise, Hobbies & Leisure Time Activities and Managing Mental Processes for the purpose of increasing emotional, physical, social, and psychological well-being.
This training is made possible through a generous grant from the Akron Bar Foundation. Rule 48 approval is pending.
