 icensed Social Worker and since 2007 she has served as the Program Directo
 r for the CASA/GAL Program of Summit County\, one of the largest and most 
 successful programs in the state of Ohio.  Beth has a BA in Individual & F
 amily Studies with a concentration in Family Life Services. She has extens
 ive experience working with foster and adoptive parents in both the public
  and private sectors. Beth served on the Ohio CASA Board of Directors from
  2017 until December 2023. In 2019 she received the “NEORTC Trainer of the
  Year” award and in 2020 she earned a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certi
 ficate from Cornell University.\n\nThis training is designed to help equip
  CASA Volunteers with the basic knowledge\, skills\, and attitudes needed 
 to create a positive and trusting relationship with children who have been
  sexually abused. CASA Volunteers will learn the difference between “typic
 al” sexual development and “red flag” behaviors. We will also review the m
 andatory reporting law and how to make a referral.
