 County Children Services for 7 years as a protective worker before that.  
 As a seasoned volunteer and social work professional in the field of child
  welfare\, Randy has many years of experience. This training is designed t
 o assist current CASA/GAL volunteers revisit fundamental roles and strateg
 ies in assessment and advocacy for children. CASA/GAL volunteers will have
  an opportunity to learn from their peers while identifying areas of stren
 gths in addition to sharing ideas on ways to improve. Participants will le
 arn organization techniques and build more confidence in understanding the
 ir role in child advocacy. \n
