 excited to offer a series of specialized VIRTUAL trainings regarding 'Work
 ing with Incarcerated Parents' presented by Lisa Drogosz PhD\, CCHP-MH.\n
 \nLisa Drogosz is a counseling psychologist and the director of the reside
 ntial treatment unit at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. She began her care
 er in correctional behavioral health in 2004 and has served justice-involv
 ed men and women as a psychologist\, director\, educator\, and presenter o
 n trauma informed practices.  She has worked in both the private and publi
 c prison sectors in the US and probation and youth justice services in the
  UK.\n\nSession 1 will focus on the reentry needs of incarcerated persons 
 along with who is incarcerated\, why\, and the criminal justice system in 
 general. Stigma surrounding incarcerated parents will also be addressed.\n
 \nSession 2 will focus on child development\, highlighting the impact of t
 rauma on development (ACEs\, generational trauma\, etc.).\n\nSession 3 wil
 l focus on the impact of incarceration on children and parents and how to 
 facilitate family reintegration when appropriate. We will identify ways ch
 ildren and parents can maintain contact and why this is important. The spe
 cial needs of incarcerated moms will also be highlighted.\n\nRule 48 appro
