Mood Disorders Among Children and Adolescents: Diagnosis and Treatment
Presented by Stacey Simera, MSSA, LISW-S

The purpose of this three hour training course is to educate CASA/GAL Volunteers on the diagnosis and treatment of child and adolescent mood disorders. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders- Fifth Edition (DSM-V) diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment practices will be of primary focus.

CASA/GAL Volunteers are required to attend a minimum of twelve (12) educational in-service hours annually after the initial training year. This includes the required three (3) hours of Rule 48 training.
