Staff Development: Take Me Home Program, presented by Leslie Knoblauch

The Take Me Home Program is a countywide initiative designed to support individuals who may have difficulty communicating during times of distress, including those with developmental or cognitive disabilities. This presentation will provide an overview of the program’s background, the populations most commonly served, how the database and registration process work, and how law enforcement accesses and uses the system. Participants will also learn about real-life scenarios, officer training, and the role we play in helping ensure safe and successful outcomes for families in our community.
