The curriculum for SOGIE 102 is six hours so mark your calendars for part 1 and part 2. SOGIE 101 is not a pre-requisite for SOGIE 102 but is highly recommended.
SOGIE 102: Adopting the SOGIE Lens (Integrating SOGIE knowledge into skills and abilities in child welfare practice)
Learning Description: SOGIE 101 set the foundation for developing knowledge and understanding of diverse sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. SOGIE 102, the second installment of the SOGIE Journey Training series, will focus on building on the SOGIE 101 knowledge and putting it into practice! The SOGIE 102 is an interactional training that focuses on application and developing a level of confidence around implementing a SOGIE lens into your everyday work. We will practice SOGIE conversations and utilize feedback to grow as a SOGIE competent child welfare practitioner.
